SPAY & NEUTER

What are Spay & Neuter?

Spaying of females is the removal of the entire reproduction tract and neutering of males is the removal of the testicles. Both of these procedures are performed under general anesthesia and with very strict sterile cleaning guidelines.

What are the benefits?

Spaying and Neutering helps prevent serious health problems helping your pets live much longer. For females spaying helps eliminate the possibility of uterine cancer, ovarian cancer and reduces the chances of breast cancer.In males neutering helps decrease the risk of benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatic cancer and testicular cancer.

Is the surgery dangerous or painful?

Spaying and Neutering is a very common surgical procedure performed by Dr.Saini who has has been practicing  veterinary medicine for over 25 years. Our most important goals throughout their stay here is safety and pain management. All staff members make it of utmost importance to keep your pet pain free allowing a much faster recovery.

For Dogs/Cats: The best time to spay or neuter your pet is when they are about six months old.
